Wat Chamnihatthakan (Thai: วัดชำนิหัตถการ) is also referred to as Wat Sam Ngam (Thai: วัดสามง่าม).

Wat Chamnihatthaka’s devotees normally call it as Wat Sam Ngam.
However the precise established date of Wat Chamnihatthaka was unknown. According to the artistic features of the temple, it was estimated to be built in the early period of Rattanakosin in BE2367. The Buddha hall is furnished with Chinese artistic style and the decorations on the wall have the pattern arts and statues in Chinese style. A Buddha statue of Bang Man Wichai posture is enshrined in the main hall. Other Buddha statues such as Phra Sivali, maitreya Buddha and Phra Sankachai are also enshrined in the hall for devotees’ worshiping.
Phra Kru Wijit Sansophon (พระครูวิจิตร สารโสภณ) made the first Phra Sivali in meditating posture in Thailand. It is about human body size. The statue is to remind devotees of the benevolence of Buddha. Phra Sivali could help in gaining wealth.
Later the abbot of Wat Chamnihattaka Phra Kru Prariyatthammakhun had the Phra Sivali in meditating posture and a over 300 years reclining Buddha Phra Pang Saiyas enshrined in temple for devotees
come to worship and accumulate their good deeds.
