Mr. Buranasak Rurksamruad, often called Director Toy, is the Director of Tourism Authority of Thailand, Nakhonnayok Office. An enthusiast of Buddha amulets and other sacred objects, he deeply believes that the mercy of Buddha makes his wishes come true.
Director Toy only wears three Buddha amulets:
1. Phra Kru Vimolkunakorn (Thai: พระครูวิมลคุณากร) Luang Poo Suk Wat Pak Khlong Makham Thao of Wat Sing District, Chaina Province, made in the Chainat Pittayakom School in 2535 BE and consecrated by both Somdej Phra Sangharaja and Somdej Phra Yaan Na Sang Won.
2. Luang Pu Thuat Rian Peidlok Wat Sakae of Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province.
3. The powerful 1st-batch "Thao Vessuwan Bailan[1] Saoha Takrut" made by Phra kru Pariyatphosuntorn, the abbot of Wat Pho Ngam in Tambon Sarika, Nakhon Nayok Province, which enhances the good fortunes in lives and careers.
[1]"Bailan" (Thai: ใบลาน) is fan palm leaf which was used by Thai people and monks as a kind of paper to write letters or scriptures, served as food wraps, or made into a rope to tie things.
Director Toy began the job in Bangkok Tourist Information Center in 2538 BE and was treated very well by his superiors who often gave him oppourtunities of promotion and raise. After enshrining Bailan Saoha Takrut, he became more self-confident and met more positive things. Currently as the Director of Tourism Authority of Thailand, Nakhonnayok Office, he's been working hard and, thanks to the efficaciousness of the takrut, made lots of progresses and improvements in his career.
He also said the there is little necessity to put on numerous Buddha amulets; three ones are enough. Besides, it is meaningless to insist on high-priced amulets, because the efficaiousness of amulets relies on the sincereness of wearers. He has special likings for takruts, which have the same effects as Buddha amulets. Our lives will be full of hopes as long as we truly revere the mercy of Buddha and do good deeds from time to time.
